Anton Chigurh as the nihilism principle

One can give an allegory interpretation to the character of Anton Chigurh as the principe of ontological-nihilism.
This principle state that the universe has no meaning and no order and it is controlled by brutal forces that hit one by chance.

Introducing this principal as a character, let the Coen brother the opportunity to light this principle by studying the character behavior in different situations.

In the scene where Anton entering a gas station, Anton is paying the shop owner, and the owner starts a smalltalk with him. The owner asks Anton if the rain caught him on the way – this activate Anton to action and it is clear he is about to kill the poor shop owner.

The question is why? What did the owner say that activated him?
The shop owner tried to set order into reality, to put reality into patterns- the cause an effect patterns (you drive the road from Dallas, there was rain in Dallas therefore you got rain on your way) , Anton as the nihilism principle have to react to such statement by giving him a lesson on nihilism.
He toss a coin for the life of the owner to teach him that not order but brutal chance rules the universe.
